Global Federation for Spiritual Healing
Welcome to the Global Federation for Spiritual Healing and thank you for your interest in our activities. On this website you will find information regarding our concept of Spiritual Healing and the Training Standards promoted by the GFSH as well as our activities. The association's main aim is to contribute to the standards of training set for Spiritual Healing and related therapies and thereby increase the recognition of Spiritual Healing amongst healthcare professionals as well as the general public. In addition we aim to help practitioners and the general public alike to better understand the nature of Spiritual Healing, including its limitations, and make informed choices about complementary therapies.
The Global Federation for Spiritual Healing considers Spiritual Healing as being a complementary therapy, which above all brings humans' self-healing power to consciousness and empowers people to take control over their health and wellbeing. Using therapeutic interventions targeting the 5 senses, which as based on the Vedic Scriptures are the main catalysts for health or at its worst ill-health, humans can be helped in their endeavour to stay healthy and happy. While we believe that Spiritual Healing and related therapies are comprehensive, because they work on the mind, body, soul and spirit simultaneously, we maintain that all forms of Spiritual Healing should be viewed as an "additional support" to the treatments undertaken by licensed physicians and other health care professionals, and that people suffering from medical conditions should stay under the supervision and guidance of a licensed physician or other health care professional.
We hope that our initiative promotes the collaboration between conventional medicine and holistic therapeutic arts, so that many people can benefit from the combination of these approaches and their health and wellbeing is restored more effectively and efficiently.
